I was fortunate enough to have met Frances in the last several years. What shone through most prominently was her kindness. Even through her illness, she never lost her wit, sense of humour, and optimism. My deepest condolences to John and to Frances’ family.
John, Tina and Zachary my heartfelt sympathy in your loss. I remember spending summer vacations with my Aunt Jessie, Uncle Art and their kids growing up in Newfoundland. France and my sister, Phyllis, share the same birthday month. Wonderful memories of those times.

John, Tina, and Zachary, I sit here tonight remembering all of the good times I had in Antigonish with you guys. Fran made me laugh so much. We used to go to bingo a lot and I remember her sense of humor. I know she hadn't been well in a while and I'm so sorry that that happened to such a wonderful person. I wish I could be there for you.
