To Stan’s family our sincerest sympathies extended to each of you. We got to know Stan while visiting mom at the Port Hawkesbury Nursing home— he loved to sing with Jerry and Leon when they played, and just loved music in general. He had an amazing smile when you saw him each visit. He will be truly missed by all at the nursing home- sending strength and prayers your way at this sad time

I was so saddened to hear of Stanley's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him when I would visit my brother-in-law (Kilmer) at the home where they had become good friends. My heart goes out to his family, I feel his will be a big void to fill. RIP

Our deepest sympathy to Stanley’s family. He was such a friend to our brother Francis who was only a few doors down. Always watching up the hallway to get a good view of who was coming and going. We always spoke to him and I know he appreciated our company too. He was such a gentleman, and so kind. God bless Francis Bowman, his wife Dougie and his brothers and sisters.

I remember working at Sears with Stanley. He delivered appliances and oh how we laughed about all the silly stories he would tell us. He worked hard, and made me smile every time I saw him. I will miss you!!!

I was saddened to hear of Stanley”s passing, and even though I only met him 2 or 3 time, he was a roommate of my Uncle’s and I heard his name often. He was always happy, the life of the home! He left a lasting impression on anyone who met him, not many people can say that. Rest in Peace.

Stan played ball with my dad, Jim Power, and I watched many Guysbrough Josts games as a kid. He was always funny and kind to my sister and me. Dad adored Stan, and they were great teammates and friends.
