Condolences to Sandy's family. I got to know Sandy while traveling on the school bus to St Andrew Rural High. I met him a couple of times during his flying career & a few times after he had retired and I had retired from 40 yrs in the Air Force. Sandy was a very fine gentleman.

I was so sad to see Sandy's obituary. He was someone I always respected and enjoyed talking with, and exactly 3 weeks ago, I sent Sandy an email about setting up a visit. I had no idea that I was too late.
Sandy was a very humble, kind, generous and deep person. I know that he was primarily responsible for guiding someone who was in desperate need to a path of healing, peace and contentment. Sandy's spirituality was profound, and he was able to effectively share truths in his quiet, sincere way. I clearly remember hearing Sandy convincingly speak about how important it is to let go of resentment in order to live well. He cared about others, had good insights and communicated without putting people on the defensive. A rare and wonderful way of being and making a difference!
To Diane and all of Sandy's family, my deepest sympathy at this very difficult time. He will always be very fondly remembered.
