We would like to extend our condolences to Eddie's family and friends.
We sailed with Eddie for many years out of Cribbons. His enthusiasm and
zest for life was evident in all that he did. His picture on "The Bay B'ye"
portrays it all!

Ed was a very nice guy. He went to school with me. Everyone thought a lot of him. He also worked for awhile for Partners /construction in Pictou for Modie Mansour who I know very well. Condolences to his family. May he now RIP.

Very sorry to hear about Eddie. He was one of the good guys, a great hockey player and in fact a boyhood idol when he played for the Cape Breton Metros. Didn't see him much over the years but when we did meet it was always a pleasure. My deepest sympathy to his family and many friends. Rest in Peace my old friend.

Sending my Condolences to Family and Friends of Eddie. Even though our paths crossed for a short period over 40 years ago, I thought of Him and Leslie quite often. Lake Ainslie was a once in a life time adventure that will stay with me forever. R.I.P. MY FRIEND.

Sending condolences to Eddies family and friends…I, Harvey (Shack) Kelloway, played with Eddie on the 1967 - 1968 Jr. Miners. Eddie, Art Billard and Robert Anderson played on the Midget line. All 3 players left us too soon and were all star hockey players during their careers . RIP Eddie

Like many others, Cathy and I first met Ed on the courts at SFX. It took him little to no time to realize we were beginners and offered us many, many welcomed pieces of advise for a game he enjoyed so much. His enthusiasm was contagious, and playing with him was always enjoyable and a free lesson. Thank you Eddie. Our most sincere condolences to his family. He'll be missed by many.

To Eddie ‘s Family and Friends:
It is with sadness to read of Eddie ‘s passing .I attended St Anne’s and St Mike’s with Eddie.
I haven’t seen him in over 52 years and was wondering what road he had taken.
He was always kind, helpful and had a great sense of humour and from reading his obituary he hasn’t changed a bit.
Of all the times we were visiting family in Williams Point I have never run into Eddie.
Please accept my sincere condolences and may he RIP.
God Bless ,
Raylene ( Cochrane) MacEachern

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to Eddie's family. We got to know Eddie through pickleball where his athletic abilities shown brightly matched only by his big smile. You could always count on Eddie for a joke, a story or to provide a helping hand whenever needed.
