Obituary of William Andrew Barnes

William (Bill) Andrew Barnes, 77, passed away on February 25, 2025 in St Martha’s Regional Hospital with his partner, Betty, by his side.

Bill was born December 22, 1947 and grew up in Montreal, Quebec. He is predeceased by his first wife Carol Dakin and second wife Sandra Norris. Survived by his daughters, Alana (Jeremy Brzozowski) and Dayna (Dustin Overmars) and their children, Lyla, Elle, Theo, and Maeve; and his sisters Carol (John Yates) and Patricia (Robert Musty).

The family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by the wonderful staff at St Martha’s Hospital Palliative Care unit. In lieu of flowers or cards please kindly consider making a donation to support Palliative Care or an organization that supports mental wellness and emotional wellbeing.

No visitation or funeral will take place; Interment will take place in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Greely, Ontario, next summer.
