Karen, Cheryl, Ian and your families, and all of Theresa's MacPhail and Grace relatives and friends: please accept my heartfelt sympathy at this time of sudden and immense loss..
Theresa was such a special person. I will always remember her quiet sweet nature, humility, love of family, humour, generosity, kindness to animals, and other-centeredness. Her intentions were always good, and she brought joy and comfort to many. Theresa was so very proud of you children and her little grandchildren. She would always consider others' opinions and be open to new possibilities. I remember how excited Theresa was to see the Rockies with Doug for the first time, though I think she might have preferred walking to Alberta over flying! And the pleasure spring flowers, rescuing cats and kittens and visiting/ playing cards with people she cared about brought to her.
Theresa experienced many challenges, and achieved many goals. She almost made it to her 80th birthday. I visualize Theresa now enjoying perfect peace, which she so deserves. I am very grateful that I had the pleasure of knowing this lovely woman, and will always hold her memory in my heart.

My sincerest condolences to all of you. Theresa will be greatly missed by you.
I know I’m repeating what others may have said but you three were everything to her. She was so proud of you. She did worry about you. It was hard for her to go to work when any of you were sick. Doug got about 100 calls.
I worked with Theresa for many years. She was a kind and competent nurse. I have so many “Theresa stories”. She had such a great sense of humour and would share funny stories about herself and we would see first hand some of them play out. She was great to work with.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all

To say Theresa was proud of you three, Karen,Cheryl and Ian is an understatement. I worked with Theresa for many years and her love and pride for each of you was so evident.
Every new mom knew they and their new baby was safe and sound when Theresa was around. Her caring ways, her soft comfort was most reassuring. She was missed when she retired. It was so nice to run into her just a few months back. Deepest sympathies to all.
