Sending my thoughts, hugs, and love, to the Crawford and MacLellan families, at this sad time. There are so many memories of Joan that come to mind, our friendship, the long walks to our houses on Hawthorne Street, and Highland Drive, the sleepovers, and most of all, our love of sports!

I am one of Joan's new friends upon her return to Antigonish. She was witty and funny and always had a twinkle in her eye with some of her responses. Our Sunday brunches were always an adventure to different restaurants and counties in eastern Nova Scoria and Cape Breton. We always did food revues afterwards. I will miss her so. My deepest condolences to her children and sisters and brothers. Our card games were exciting at times.
