Dear Shirley and family,
Yvon and I were sorry to learn that Alex had passed. We have enjoyed getting to know him, and loved his "joie de vivre", his great sense of humour, his love of his family, and, of course, his love of music. Josee has certainly inherited his musicality. We are thinking of all of you.

Dear Aunt Shirley, Marc, Dave, and Robbie,
It’s very sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Alex. He was a tremendous person, and I’m truly grateful that he became a part of our lives. I always enjoyed his visits to the Island with Aunt Shirley — those memories will always stay with me.
We shared a real connection through our love of music and sports, and we could talk for hours about both. His dedication and thoughtful approach to those passions always resonated with me.
What always stood out most was his energy, spirit, and positive outlook — even well into his 70s and 80s. He was a shining example of how life can and should be lived, and that’s something worth celebrating.
Cheers to a life well lived. He will be missed.

Dear Aunt Shirley, Marc, Dave, and Robbie,
What an extraordinary life Uncle Alex lived—92 years of strength, humor, wisdom, and heart. I hope you’re able to take comfort in celebrating the full, remarkable journey he had. He truly was a legend.
I want to thank the heavens for giving me such a legendary uncle. Uncle Alex sparked in me a drive to be the best golfer I could be—and because of him, I pushed myself further than I thought possible. But more than anything, he taught me a deeper truth: that the most important shot in golf is the next shot. I’ve carried that mindset into nearly every part of my life. For that, I’ll always be grateful.
They say legends never die. Uncle Alex will live on inside me, and in so many others, for the rest of our days.
With love and admiration,
Jeffrey
