We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom.Your parents were beautiful souls, so very kind and patient. They will forever hold a special place in my heart for their kindness, over many years, to my Nana,Maggie Ann MacDonald and my grandfather Hughie and Uncle Roddie, who rented from them the little house next door to your family. I have many happy memories associated with Orchard Terrace. And I remember your dad and mom's bakery and the delicious brownies ,always a favourite!
Your parents have blessed you all including many generations to come with a legacy of faith,love,and family.

Laureen and the family of Margie,
My sincerest condolences on the passing of your sweet, loving mother, Margie. Margie (and Finley) were close friends of our family for many years, and as a close friend of Laureen's, I was often at their home and always welcomed in by Margie with her beautiful smile and warm, inviting presence. I always felt that Margie and Finley were true soulmates - so connected and in tune with each other. I have such fond memories of them (and Laureen) staying at our cottage one summer ... there was so much laughter and joy.
Margie was lovely - thoughtful, kind, and radiated warmth wherever she went. She was always so positive, a very talented seamstress (as evidenced by the many sewing projects she was always working on), and an amazing cook. She led a full, busy life and accomplished it all with a smile. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend - she’ll be missed greatly. Sending you all love and wishing you comfort and peace in the days ahead.

To the beautiful family of Margie and Finlay: may the memories of good times and a life well lived be of great comfort. Your parents were the epitome of good parenting yet finding time to be good to neighbours and friends as well. They were so proud of each one of you. When my husband and I wanted to attend Marriage Encounter and had no family near by to look after our little ones Margie took over our duties! Imagine doing that, as busy as they were at the time with all of you and the Bakery!! Having moved to PEI in 2000 kept in touch with a card at Christmas. So sorry to learn of Margie’s passing. I have many fond summer memories from out at the cove growing up. Margie and Finley hosted many horseshoe tournament dinners over the years and I even won a few times with Finley. They were both wonderful, lovely people and are now reunited again with my own grandparents. Sending lots of love to Margie’s family during this difficult time and big hugs from Calgary.
