I'm so sorry to hear of Inez's passing. I didn't know her well, but I knew her enough to know she was an absolute sweetheart. She was always so pleasant and always had on her silver jewelry that we had many conversations about. She will be truly missed.

Even after a week, i keep coming to this site to see if this is real. Had so many great times with this gal. How can this world be without Inez. To Inez’s family: I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. I worked with Inez at The News in New Glasgow for a few years before my retirement. Inez was such a joy to work with, always pleasant, funny, extremely kind and caring. I saw her a couple of times in Antigonish when I was in town for appointments, it was nice to catch up on family happenings. Please know that she was very proud of her family of which she so often spoke about.

She would always come to me, when I was working, to get ads done for the Moonlight both at The Casket and XFM. She was such a pleasure to talk to and do business with, and the chats continued during her time at Hawthorne Convenience. Inez was one of the first people to welcome me and the Gabriel Pizza family to Antigonish. She was always so kind and patient, and honest and a face you were always happy to see.
She was a tremendous advocate for the radio station, and local business community and the town as a whole.
I will very much miss seeing her friendly face, and chatting with her around town, at the store and in the restaurant.
