I got to know Pat during his time teaching here in Pictou County. He was a straight shooter and a fair minded person. May he rest in peace.
To Pat's wife and family (and Clare Ann),I send deep condolences. One sport that I most remember Pat playing was street hockey.He was part of that Xavier Drive contingent, often beating us folks on the Heights.

Blake and I are so sorry for your loss. I remember Patrick when he was a little boy, coming to visit us in Sydney. My mother, Margaret, was a sister to Patrick’s father, John. And it was always such a treat when the family would come to visit us in Sydney. Patrick always had a wonderful sense of humour. I am sure that he will be very much missed by all of his family. Our thoughts are with you.
