Our condolences to the MacInnis Family on Pat's passing. Pat was a big part of the farm in the early 80's when I took over from my parents. Pat and I were bachelors together in the farm house for a bit with Pat being the cook. Someone asked him one day what he and Johnny had everyday for supper. Pat said, "Well sometimes we have meat and potatoes and other days we have potatoes and meat." He came to live with me so that I could get him up in the early morning for milking. He was a sound sleeper and was awakened the first morning with some refreshing water splashed on his face. After that he got up on his own. He was a valued worker at Trivee Holsteins and I was happy to have his help in those early years. He was a kind man and was especially kind to my brother, Bernie. Pat always looked out for Bernie when he travelled on the school bus with him, etc. over the years. We like to think that Bernie came to meet Pat on his final journey. Rest in Peace Pat, we will always remember you and smile. Johnny and Jacqueline Vosman (and Trivee Holsteins)

Simpler times for sure, grade 6, St. andrews Consilidate, we were relieved of our teacher for a long weekend, and replaced with our esteamed principle to fill those last few hours of edification. Robert Kimball took over the watch and dispatched his knowledge with swift speed, then abruptly we were cast to reading period, sharing the contents of his wallets we soon learned our learned educator was quite wealthy.
A large amount in different amounts, a good guess would be approximately 60 dollars. A large amount of currency at that time. Mr. Kimball surmised that ten man could not relieve him of his hard earned money. As he pondered his largess, a waving hand from. The back of the class requested a bathroom break. Kimbel motioned Patrick on, the trap set for our unsuspecting pontiff, as Patty meadered towards the the exit, our principle counted his loot, with one fell snwoop Patrick swiped every bill from our outwitted authoritarian. An unforgettable moment , not to belittle an unforgettable teacher or an old friend. I just wanted to share, few would remember that rebellion in grade 6, Rest in peace my friend.
