My Sincere Condolences to the Teasdale Family,
I was saddened to learn of Murray’s passing. The world feels a little emptier without him, and I know your family especially feels this loss.
I first met Murray forty-four years ago at the garage on the family property. I had the privilege of trucking up and down the road together from time to time. You never knew when you might see him at a truck stop or on the road somewhere in North America. However, Christmas Tree hauling season to the USA one can be sure to see him at Dysart’s in Bangor more than once.
Though I left trucking to explore new opportunities, whenever I returned to Antigonish, I would often bump into Murray in town, hear about his latest ventures through family members, or meet him at the CACL at the Tuesday coffee group. He was a true gentleman and a friend.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies during this difficult time. I am grateful to have known Murray and will always remember his kindness and friendship.

So sorry to hear of Murray's passing. He and Mary were wonderful neighbours and real, salt-of-the-earth type people. He was one-of-a-kind and perhaps one of the last of a dying breed. His interest in everyone and everything was genuine and unaffected. I have so many fond memories of all the Teasdales, growing up next door.
My condolences to Mary, Eugene, Adele, Sandy, Maria, Paula, Elizabeth, Robert, James and Carmel.

I met Murray in the "70's....hitchhiking from Dalhousie to Antigonish ... I was freezing by the side of the road in Truro, thinking I was going to die...when a big truck pulled over, saved my life and asked me my name , and thats all he needed to hear...."your mom is from Antigonish"..he said, and he knew my uncles and aunts like brothers and sisters and we talked the whole way home....and that wasn't the last time he stopped for me. Always upbeat, with great stories, and clearly had the most uplifting contagious persona I have ever met. For those who didn't know him, and there weren't many, you missed out on a wonderful individual. He did it all....and left nothing of his game on the ice....will miss him.

To Mary and her beloved family; I offer my sincere condolences on the passing of Uncle Murray. I am so honoured to have his name included in mine...David Murray Teasdale. He certainly was an unsung hero. Murray certainly was a true servant of Christ living how Christ wants us to live. Murray certainly lived the DASH in between the two important dates of his life January 13/1937 ----- October 4/2025. To all the individuals who had the opportunity of being part of his DASH.... what an honour!! I am so proud to be part of his lineage and legacy. May God comfort his wife and children and their families during this difficult time. May his beautiful soul and all the souls of the faithful departed Rest in Peace.

Mary and family, our deepest condolences on Murray's passing! Such a special man dearly loved by many. It is my honor to have been one of the Ten Brinke's who grew up across the road from the Teasdales, leaving me with so many special memories of Murray and all of our families times together. One of many memories is the time he allowed us to move tires out of the shed so that we kids could create the infamous "Happy House" where we all played for so many summer hours and created memories. Lyndon and I have talked often of the amazing visit "on the hill" with Murray when we were home from Alberta last summer. On our next trip home, we will be sure to come back to the hill for more stories and hugs. We will be thinking of you all on Thursday and Friday, holding you close in our hearts. Sincerest condolences to Murray’s family. My late husband Robert (Bob) had such love and respect for Murray, and I will always remember him sharing the beautiful story of how they first many years ago on a frigid night when Murray’s truck broke down, and Bob pulled his rig over and helped him out….back in the day when all drivers stopped to help their fellow ‘Trucker’ in need. They shared the same values, and Bob cherished their friendship. Murray enriched so many lives and has certainly left a beautiful legacy of kindness and respect. There will certainty be a celebration in heaven and a new bright star in the sky. RIP Murray.
