Condolences to Peggy's family. We are first cousins. A few years ago, I was scanning all the pictures that had been in my mother's family album onto a disk that could be played on a computer or DVD player. I made a copy for your mother as well. She was in some of the pictures. When I stopped at her house to give it to her she was overwhelmed. She had tears running down her face. She said, "No one has ever done anything so nice for me."
I was glad that I had given it to her!

My sincere sympathy to everyone in Peggy’s family. She certainly lived a wonderful life and you were blessed to have her for your Mom and grandmother.

Gosh, I remember trick or treating on South Side Harbour as a kid. One of my favorite stops was always at the tracks, at Peggy and Owen’s house. Coming from a house of animal lovers, it was always especially exciting to see Peggy’s exotic looking Siamese cats (we only had semi-feral barn cats), and her bougie Elkhounds (so proper looking compared to our neurotic border collies!).
I loved to read Peggy’s story shared here, learning about how she was an avid hunter, artist and security guard! She was a total bad ass, and I think that’s pretty darn awesome to have in my shared bloodline.
