Obituary of Steven Foster Croxen-Johnson

Johnson, Steven Foster Lincolnville, Guysborough Co. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother. He passed away at the age of 75 on Wednesday June 10,2026 in the R.K. Nursing Home, Antigonish, surrounding by his loving family.

Born in Lincolnville, he was the son of the late Frederick (Snooks) and Louise Johnson. He is survived by daughters Stephanie Macpherson, Grace Clyke  Connie and Brenda Cudmore. Many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Brothers Wesley (Pat), Mulgrave;  Bernard, Alberta; Louis (Marie), Timberlea; sisters Beverley (Spryfield); Amanda (Kevin), Monastery; and Nora; Predeceased by his Dad, the late Frederick Robert Johnson, mother Theresa Louis Jordan Johnson, brother, Robert (Pete) William Johnson, sister Donna Louis Croxen.

Steve was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved and enjoyed his community. He enjoyed playing cards and teaching others how to play. He was a friend to young and old alike. Steve will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

Special thanks to the staff (especially Karen) of the R.K MacDonald Nursing Home. Graveside burial will be held at St. Monica's Chapel Cemetery in Lincolnville, July 4 at 10 am Father Barry presiding. Celebration of life will be held at the Lincolnville Community Centre following burial.
