Betty was one of the first people met when I started working inpatients at St. Martha's. She was always friendly, patient, bright, and happy to chat about life and family. I'm grateful for meeting her. My condolences to all of Betty's family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Betty from the hospital. She would visit us in the pharmacy in the old hospital quite often. We were always grad to see her.

Betty was an extremely lovely person, one who would assist anyone should they ask. Among her many attributes glowed a high level of intelligence, respect for people and above all her kindness and willing to assist friends, neighbors and relatives in any way she could. She was like a sister to me and she will be missed by a multitude of friends and relatives alike. I will miss you from the bottom of my heart. Bless you, classy lady, friend, mother, wife and confident ❤️ ♥️

I only knew Betty through our involvement in and love of bridge. I remember meeting Betty the first time I walked into Club 60 to play bridge. There was this big smile and a welcoming hug - she knew how insecure and terrified I felt. And she has been that kind support ever since, not only to me but to all our bridge members. She brought sparkle, joy, humour and love to all her interactions. She will be solely missed. My deepest condolences to Gerald, Tracey, Arlene and the rest of her family. She was a great lady.

Many wonderful fun filled times going to bridge tournaments with Betty & playing at our Bridge Club. Also fond memories of nursing days. She was such a joke teller and baker!
