Obituary of Ann Pauline Chisholm

Ann was born on June 28, 1932 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia to John Alexander (Jack) and Sarah Catherine (MacEachern) Chisholm.

Ann spent many years working in her father’s shoe store on weekends and when needed.  She also worked as a dentist helper for a number of years before becoming a secretary in the Bursar’s office at St. Francis Xavier University.  AND she was the BEST cookie and fudge Aunt for her 19 nieces and nephews!

Ann enjoyed traveling including a trips with her sisters to England and Scotland, out west with her mother to her brother Drew’s wedding, and to France for her brother's, Joe, funeral.

Ann is survived by her sister Mora (Bruce LePage), Drew (Pam Fraser) and her nieces and nephews: Jean, Sharon, Betsy, Sandy, Joe, Paul, Terry, Jane, Joan, and Matthew; Eileen, Edward, and Andrew; Michael, Paul, Jeff, and Cathy; Elizabeth, Claire and Jean. Ann is also survived by her beloved cousins: Sandy, John, Donald, Doreen, James, Bruce, Mary, Raymond, Gerard, Ruth, Peter, Jean, Ann Therese, and Susan .

She was predeceased by her siblings Isabel (CND), Ruth (the Grail Movement), Jean (CSM), John (Blanche), Leo (Kathleen), Mary (CSM), Elizabeth (Betty), Frances (Frank), Lauchie and Joe (RCAF)

Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 29 at 2PM in St, Ninian’s Cathedral, Antigonish, NS. Burial in the parish cemetery. Reception to follow the mass in Room 21 St. Ninians Place. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to L'Arche Antigonish, The RK MacDonald Nursing Home or The Alzheimers Society of NS.
