Obituary of Stanley James Croxen

Stanley (Wes) James Croxen passed away peacefully in his home in Mulgrave at the age of 79. Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late Wesley and Louise (Jordan) Croxen. He is survived by his wife Patricia, Montreal; son Charles (Patricia), Ottawa; daughters Anna (Neil), New Glasgow; Amanda and Janet both of Halifax; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; brothers Bernard, Alberta; Louis (Marie), Timberlea; sisters Beverly, Spryfield; Mandy (Kevin), Monastery; Nora, Dartmouth.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Robert (Pete); William Johnson; Steven Foster Johnson; and sister Donna Louise Croxen.

Wes worked as a mechanic for many years. He loved to play the guitar and was a member of the ABC Band. He enjoyed playing for the residents of the Milford Haven, R.K. MacDonald and Port Hawkesbury Nursing Homes. 

A private burial will be held at St. Monica's Chapel Cemetery, Lincolnville.
