Dear Mary’s family,
Our hearts are with all of you as we remember a truly remarkable woman.
Mary was the very best neighbour anyone could ask for. We will always treasure the many conversations we shared on her porch or ours about trees, plants, gardening, family, and life. Whether she stopped by with fresh biscuits, homemade jelly, or a cake, her visits were always a gift. We knew we could count on her wise advice, steady encouragement, and wonderful sense of humour.
Mary was a pillar of our community—gracious, hardworking, generous, and kind. She made everyone around her feel valued. She also spoke so lovingly of each of you, always knowing what her children and grandchildren were doing and celebrating your accomplishments with genuine pride. She was your greatest cheerleader, and it was a joy to witness the deep love she had for her family.
Jeff and I often felt Mary was a little part of our own family too. We will miss her deeply and will always be grateful for her friendship.
Rest peacefully, dear Mary. Thank you for making our lives richer.
