Obituary of Mary Ann Carrigan

Mary Ann (MacGillivary) Carrigan, 90 of Antigonish Harbour passed away peacefully Monday, June 12, 2017 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Mary was the daughter of the late Daniel MacGillivary, Lakevale and Sadie MacDonald of Arisaig. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. Mary was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2009 after 63 years of marriage, son Frank, grandson Kevin and granddaughter Denise and brothers Ray, AJ, Donald. Surviving are daughters Kathleen (James) Flood, New York, Jean Marie (Leonard) DiSilvestro Florida, Linda (Blaise) Boyd Cribbons Point, daughter-in-law Sharon Carrigan, New York, brothers Doug, Lawrence, Roddy (Ontario) Nan & John, Antigonish, Jean, Washington. Mary had 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday, June 14th at MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant Street, Antigonish. Mass of Christian Burial 2 pm Thursday June 15 in St. Columba Church Lakevale. Rev. Andrew Boyd presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations to the charity of choice.
