Obituary of Paul Louis d’Entremont

d’Entremont, Paul Louis, 77, of Aspen, Guysborough County, formerly of Halifax, passed away September 29, 2017 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Sherbrooke, with family and friends at his side. Born in Meteghan River, son of the late Desire and Gertrude (Amirault), Paul was raised in Halifax, retired to Aspen after a long career at Bedford Institute of Oceanography. Paul is survived by wife, Jean (Carnell), daughters Colette (Thane) and Michelle (Marc), granddaughters Elyse and Rielle, brother Victor (Olive), Moncton, sisters Evie (Larry) Babcock, Kelowna, and Phyllis, Vancouver. Paul enjoyed life to the fullest, was an avid skier, hunter and salmon fisherman, and loved by all. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral Service Wednesday 10:30 in St Benedict Church, 45 Radcliff Dr., Halifax, Dinah Simmons presiding. Reception to follow in the parish hall. In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross or charity of choice.
