MacDonald, Charles Reginald; age 96; South Lochaber passed away peacefully with his niece, Mary by his side at St. Martha's Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 26th, 2017. Born in South Lochaber on July 1, 1921; he was the son of the late William and Ellen (Cooper) MacDonald. Reg will be remembered as a kind and gentle man who always had something witty to say. He is survived by his sister-in-law Sylina MacDonald, niece Mary (James) Long, Salmon River Lake; and their children Michael (Joel), Shelley (Jeremy), James (Lexie), Shawn and Eric; as well as his great-grandniece, Ada Frances, who brought a smile to his face when she came to visit. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Robert (Helen), Joseph (Mabel), Gerald (Mary) and Francis; as well as his niece Monica.
