Obituary of William Burton Macdonald

William Burton (Burt) Macdonald, 77, of Highland Crest Home, Antigonish, died peacefully, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Alex (Jack Dougald) and Catherine (MacGillivray) Macdonald. Burt was a resident of Highland Crest since 1983. He was very devoted to his mother and enjoyed going to bingo and fishing. Surviving is sister Ann Colwell, Sault St. Marie, ON. He was predeceased by sister Mary K. Grace and brothers John and Gerald. Funeral Service 10am Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in Highland Crest Home, 44 Hillcrest St., Antigonish, Rev. Angus MacGillivray presiding. Burial in St. Ninian’s Cemetery.
