Obituary of Helen Agnes Arndt

Our communities lost an Angel when Helen Agnes Arndt (MacDonald) passed away peacefully in Moncton, March 22, 2014. She was born April 3, 1933, in Antigonish, NS to Willy Hector and Elizabeth MacDonald (Siddall). She joins her husband Ulrich, sisters Louise and Theresa, and brothers Francis, Roy, Bernard, and Lewis. She is survived by her children Elizabeth, Paula and Michael, and their children; as well as brother Dougall, sisters Mary & Alma. If ever there was a true example of a life that genuinely expressed caring, giving, dedication, forgiveness, endurance, fairness and honesty, this was Helen. All who knew her in any way became enriched in the morals and virtues we all strive for. Come and join us celebrate her life with your thoughts and memories at MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant Street, Antigonish Thursday, March 27, 7:00-9:00 and Friday 11:00-1:00. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 28th at St. Ninian’s Cathedral, Rev. Donald MacGillivray presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery.
