Obituary of David Carroll MacDougall

David Carroll MacDougall of Antigonish, NS passed away at home on November 16, 2014. Born in Antigonish on July 15, 1955, he was the son of the late D. Howard MacDougall and L. Catherine (MacGillivray) MacDougall. David was a graduate of Antigonish Regional High School and Canso Regional Vocational School. A loving son, brother and uncle, he was unfailingly kind and generous to all. He enjoyed reading, walking, going for drives in the country, and spending time at the cottage in Doctor's Brook. Besides his mother, he will be missed by brothers Alexander (Ann) and Donald, and sisters Anne Marie(Charles) and Cathy(Michiel) and several nieces and nephews and many friends at Celtic Community Homes. We are grateful to the dedicated staff at Celtic Community Homes, VON nurses and the palliative care team of St Martha's Hospital for their kindness and compassion. Cremation has taken place under the care of MacIsaac Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at St Ninian's Cathedral on Saturday, November 29 at 11am. In Memorium donations may be made to St Martha's Regional Hospital Palliative Care Program.
