Age 69, Maryvale, Antigonish County. With great sadness, we announce the passing of Thomas Lloyd O'Brien, on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Georgeville, Antigonish County, he was a son of the late Alfred and Mary (MacLean) O'Brien. Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 47years, Barbara; sons Jimmy (Jennifer) Elmsdale, Keith (Lindsey) Calgary, daughters, Mary (Ronnie) Antigonish, Debbie Lantz, Gail (Peter) Lantz; Brothers, John Angus/ Antigonish, Wayne/ Ontario; sisters Mona / Washington State, Margie/ Virgina, Dianne (Donnie) Florida, Brenda (Brian) New Brunswick. Ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Alfred, Parents-in-law Elizabeth & Wilfred, brother Harry, brother in-law Ron.
No Visitation. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Thursday February 26, 2015 St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Maryvale, Rev. Evo DiPierro presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery, at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to IWK Children's Foundation.
