Obituary of Mary Ellen Tramble

Mary Ellen Tramble, 77, of formerly from Church St. Antigonish. We regret to announce the death of Mary Ellen Tramble on Sunday, November 29, 2015 in the RK MacDonald Nursing Home, Born in Antigonish she was a daughter of the late William and Christina Tramble. Mary Ellen lived a very simple life with many friends. She authored a book that was later adapted into a play by Dr. Pat Walsh of St. FX; "Listen to the Wind', describing her personal life living with schizophrenia. Her strong faith in her Catholicism was exhibited in the many poems she authored and published. Her greatest joy was painting which she so generously gave to many organizations and, of course, to her many friends and family. She is survived by her brother John (Isabel). She was predeceased by brothers Kevin and Carl; sisters Norma Jean and Elaine. Cremation has taken place under the direction of MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St, Antigonish. Visitation from 1:00pm Monday, December 7, 2015, until time of funeral at 2:00pm, both in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home Chapel. Burial in St. Ninian’s Cemetery.
