Obituary of Joseph Arthur Bellefountaine

Joseph Arthur Bellefountaine. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joseph Arthur Bellefountaine, 44 of Lower South River, Antigonish County, on July 1 in Lower South River. Born in Halifax he was a son of Tena Landry and the late Peter Bellefountaine. Joseph was a very smart man and could turn his hand at anything. He was always willing ready to help anyone. Joseph is survived by his mother, Tena Landry, sister Joanne (George) Landry, nephews Nathan and Randy Benoit who were very special to him, his other mother, Mary Lahey, special uncle Peter (Elizabeth) VanDenHeuvel and their children David and Carolyn and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, many who referred to him as "Joe Bellybutton" He was predeceased by his father Peter and step-father Tommy Landry and maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Sunday, July 5, 2015 in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Monday in St. Andrews Church, St Andrews, Rev. Charles Cameron presiding.
