Obituary of Theresa Eileen Kirk

Eileen Kirk, 68, of Antigonish, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Hector and Suzie (Bowie) MacDonald.

Eileen worked as a crossing Guard for many years. She enjoyed playing darts, crocheting and gardening around her trailer.

Surviving are daughter Tammy, Antigonish, brother George (Dorothy) MacDonald, Brierly Brook, sisters Mary Margaret (John) MacGillivray, Antigonish, Annabel (James) Thompson, Halifax and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Huntley James Kirk, companion Dan Hasey, brother Angus MacDonald and nephew Jimmy R. MacDonald

Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday, February 23, in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St, Antigonish. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Saturday, in St Ninian’s Cathedral, Rev. Andrew Boyd presiding.
