Bill was born in Antigonish on August 28, 1948. He was the son of the late Charles and Catherine (MacLellan) Teasdale.
Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He truly was a great family man.
Bill was employed as a bricklayer. Following several years in that trade he worked at Teasdale's Mill in North Grant for 25 years. His last working years were spent with Vincent J's.
Bill was a dedicated volunteer. After serving for many years with the Antigonish Lions he was presented with a Life-Membership in recognition of outstanding support of the Lions Foundation. He also spent many years as a volunteer driver of the Care Van. This job he loved and took great pride in helping those who required the service. He also collected for the Arthritis Society.
Bill and Janie loved to travel. Trips to Burnaby, Calgary, and Boulder to welcome grandchildren were some of their greatest memories. Bill's favorite vacations were spent at Abaco Island, Bahamas.
Bill loved life. He enjoyed nature, reading and he was a great storyteller. He enjoyed many trips to town with the boys. Excursions up the mountain to Maple Lodge were always a highlight.
