Obituary of Brian Joseph Gillis

Brian Joseph Gillis, 62, of Antigonish, died July 2, 2019. He was a son of the late Allan Francis and Mary Beatrice (MacDonald) Gillis, brother of Brenda Cook of Halifax and Stephen (Donna) Gillis, Boston.

Brian was a school bus driver for the Strait Regional School Board for a number of years. He enjoyed spending time with his extended family, especially during the summer months, in Arisaig. He was a loving uncle and grand-uncle. He will be fondly remembered and missed by many cousins and friends.

Visitation from 9-10:15 am Thursday in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antihonish. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 11 at 11:00 am in St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Arisaig with Rev. Colin MacKinnon  presiding. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. www.MacIsaacs.ca
