Obituary of William Alfred Myette

It is with great sadness, we, the family of William Alfred Myette, 74, of Lochaber Road, Antigonish, regret to announce his passing on March 9, 2016 at home. Born on August 21, 1941 in Tracadie, Antigonish County he was the son of the late Lavin and Anita Myette (Rogers-Hicks). At an early age he left home to work in Ontario with his older siblings. Accompanied by friends, he ventured to work in the gold mines of Thompson, Manitoba. After moving back home to Nova Scotia he worked for the Department of Transportation. He was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather. His passions in life were his family, cars, gardening and hunting and fishing with his sons. He was very proud of the education that his sons were able to obtain. He enjoyed trips to Ottawa and Halifax to visit his children and grand children and looked forward to visits from his family.
