We the family, wish to announce the passing of our Mother/Grandmother, Florence DeCoff of Dartmouth, formerly of Saint Andrews and Afton.
Born in 1938 in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Harvey) Turnbull. Florence was a very proud Cape Bretoner, quiet with a great sense of humor.
Florence and husband Bernie were happily married for 58 years. In 2016, after the passing of her husband, she went to live with her daughter Darlene in Dartmouth.
Florence was a stay at home mom. She loved to bake and cook and she had plenty to do as she raised her 8 children. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. Her wall of pictures was an attestment to this.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Bernie, and infant daughter Juanita Marie. She is survived by daughters, Darlene (Parker) Barkhouse, Dartmouth, Sharon (Doug) Deon, Pomquet, Linda (Tom) Milum, Vancouver, Elizabeth (Bud) Mosher, West River, Sons, Edward (Betty), PEI, Joe (Alana) PEI, John (Angela) Lawrencetown, Francis (John), PEI. 14 Grandchildren, 16 great grand children
Also survived by sisters, Mabel ,BC, Carol, and Mary, Ontario and brother Connie, Ontario. She was predeceased by sisters, Catherine, Agnes, Annie, Etta, and Dorothy. brothers, Johnny, Eddy, Gerald, Francis, Patty, Fabian, and Harvey.
