I'm devastated! While I stayed at the Claymore Apartments, I went to do my laundry one day and found an older gentleman had fallen outside his door. I helped him up. He was so embarrassed. He invited me in where I sat and talked to him for over an hour. He was a long time smoker who had health issues and severe arthritis. He couldn't get in and out to smoke and at 79, I wasn't about to push him to stop. I ended up getting him vape pens so he could have a puff inside. I bought him CBD oil to try to help with his pain. On my 3rd or 4th visit, I came to realize we were both born on January 21. I took him meals that I cooked in my toaster oven. I went to see him just before COVID but hadnt been back since due to restrictions. Rest in peace my friend. You are missed and wont be forgotten Dan.
