To: The Murrin Family
Deep peace to you as you say goodbye to your Mother from this earthly life. I was a student at MacPherson Elementary School and the highlight of my day was seeing Ed and Margaret on their rounds greeting each student along the way.
Now, they are together and greeting loved ones in heaven.
Lovingly signed,
Trudy Gillis

My sympathy to the Murrin family on their Mom's passing. My thoughts go to Mardy and Paula who were my wonderful neighbors on Ch St Ext. Alison had "Mrs Murrin" in grade three and when I told her about her passing she said she was the nicest teacher she ever had.A strange thought .she said she was thinking about her the other day wondering if it could be the same as her passing.Love to all

Dear Murrin & Kiely Families,
We were so sorry to hear that Margaret had passed away. She and Ed were one of the classiest couples we met when we came to Antigonish. She was very kind to John’s brother when he practice taught with her many years ago.
We know you have many wonderful memories. May it help to know that others are thinking of you at this sad time.
Sincere sympathy,
John & Judy Briand

I am very sorry to hear of Margaret's death. She was a wonderful person with much grace and "presence". Unfortunately, I got to meet Margaret and Ed at the time of Mike's death. I was in St. Joseph Parish, North Sydney at that time. They had great strength to carry that grief! When I went to St. Ninian we were able to re-connect. My sympathy to you and my prayerful support is with you.

My condolences to the family of Margaret. I was fortunate to have had Margaret as a teacher at the West River School before she married Ed (and then had Ed as a teacher at the Andrew Rural High). They were both great teachers. I met Anne Marie (and Mike) in the late 80s at a formal Air Force dinner in Geilenkirchen Germany (we were seated together and our three X rings quickly brought us together).

What a beautiful tribute to an incredible woman. I will always remember my Aunt Margaret for her infectious laugh, her unending strength and deep love for her family. She made us feel like her own on our annual pilgrimage to Arisaig every summer. She will be sorely missed but am glad for her welcoming committee in heaven. I know my Mom and Dad are thrilled to have her!
