Morgan Reanne Mac Gillivray–Bray, age 30, died peacefully surrounded by family on January 19, 2022, at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Morgan was born in Antigonish on May 6, 1991. She was the daughter of Tony Wallace and Trevor and Collette (Mac Gillivray) Stewart.

Morgan was loved by everyone she met. With her contagious smile and her sense of humour, she could make any day a better one. She was a proud CCA at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital who enjoyed her job and the people she worked with. She took special care in every life, whether as a CCA or in her daily life with family and friends.

Morgan had a great sense of humour and always had a positive post to share with friends. She cherished her family and loved spending a quiet night at home with her husband Tom and their fur babies or an evening in Ohio with her siblings. Morgan also loved visiting one of her favorite spots, the Arisaig wharf, especially during fishing season. She was especially proud to have her grandparents fishing boat named after her.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her loving husband Tom, sisters Sarah, Riley and Mary (BJ), brother Cameron (Shayla), grandmothers Bobbi Mac Gillivray, Patsy Wallace and Barb Stewart, parents-in-law Terry and Carol Ann Bray, brother-in-law Jimmy (Vini),  many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by grandfathers Vince Mac Gillivray and John Anthony Wallace, great grandmother Ruth Wallace and uncle Aaron Stewart.

Special thanks to the Oncology nurses for their compassionate care and guidance since her diagnosis. The family also thanks Dr. Phillip Cooper and Shelly Robertson with Palliative Care.

A private visitation and funeral will be held. At Morgan's request, memorial donations may be made to Cathy’s Place, St. Martha’s Regional Hospital.

Given Morgan's kind and generous nature, the family requests that, in her honour, people take the opportunity to do a random act of kindness.
