Knew Priate for 20 plus years in Negril, Jamaica, I think when NS was too cold, and he would spend months on the island. He was "good people". Always upbeat but not loud. He knew me by name and by CardBoard Box. Acted like a "good will ambasidor" for tourism and managed BlueCaveCastle and Home-Sweet-Home (for which Charlie still owes him money.)
One year we got 2 taxi's to bring a group down to the beach road from BCC. Priate and I road in the cargo area of the station wagon. A favorite memory. He made things happen.
In the early years he lived at Tigress-II, as did Rob and MusicMon, whose death precceded Priates by many years. Last I saw him at "on the rocks" as a resident drinker. LOL
Google Search using his name has photos of him. I am privledged to have known him, and shall miss him.
