Obituary of Theresa Trenholm

Trenholm, (Grant) Theresa Mary Isabel 

It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of Theresa Mary Isabel Trenholm. She passed at home surrounded by her loving family the afternoon of June 23, 2022. 

Born April 22, in Antigonish she was a  daughter of the late Angus J. And Florence (MacGillvray) Grant. 

She worked in her early work years as a secretary and in her most recent years in the service industry. Theresa skipped off to work, where she appreciated greeting old and new customers. 

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Keith, Antigonish, daughter Allison Mary Isabel (Mitch Smith), Calgary, son Colin Angus (Theo Mosher), Antigonish. She is also survived by her sister Joyce Anne Grant, Antigonish, and brother Angus Gerard Grant, Toronto,  aunt, Helen Troth (late Joseph), Halifax and many cousins, along with the grandoggies, Pierre, Jackson and Scotia. 

Theresa especially loved Christmas and Easter holidays. 

She was a strong person and a fighter. 

Her family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and doctors for her care in both Sydney and Antigonish. 

There will be no visitation, Funeral Mass 11:00am, Wednesday, June 29 in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Antigonish, Rev Dan MacLennan presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations to charity of choice.
