Obituary of Gerald Alexander Landry

Gerald Alexander “Sonny” Landry, 81, of Antigonish, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 in the RK MacDonald Nursing Home. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Gerard and Jean (MacDonald) Landry.

He was a long-time employee of St. FX University.

Surviving are brothers Joe (Barb) Landry, Brian (Marion) both of Antigonish, sisters Dianne (Norm) Arsenault, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Debbie Myette, and Kathleen (Willie) Cormier, both of Antigonish, also numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, who held a special place in his heart.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by nephew Michael Landry and brother-in-law Kevin Myette.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Martha Inn, at the RK MacDonald Nursing Home.

There will be a private family service only.
