Marie Agnes Foley (Gunn)

July 15, 1932-April 5, 2023

Marie Foley passed away peacefully in Sherbrooke, NS, on April 5, 2023. She was the last survivor of her immediate family and is now an angel along with her father, Matthew Gunn; her mother, Emelda Richeau (Gunn); and her brother, Donald Gunn. 

She will be fondly remembered by her niece Julie Gunn of Slave Lake, AB; her niece Dawn Patchett of NB; her niece Nancy Patchett of Queensville, ON; her nephew Daniel Gunn of Windsor, ON; her loving cousins; and her dearest friend and comrade, Elaine Bradbury. 

Warm-hearted and selfless, Marie volunteered her time with multiple organizations over the years, including the Canadian Cancer Society and various hospitals in a multitude of roles. She was a natural carer and devoted her time to those in need. Her passions were camping, travelling, lending a helping hand, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Marie will rest at Holy Cross Cemetary in Thornhill, ON, with her loving husband Gilbert Freeman.
