I am so sorry to hear the devastating news of Nathan’s passing. While I hadn’t spoken to Nate in a few years, the memories that we shared in our relationship were ones that I carried with me. He taught me how to love and be loved, and that is something that I was always grateful to have experienced. He had the most caring heart, and surrounded his friends and family with his love. I cannot imagine the loss that you are experiencing but I hope that you can feel the impact that he has made in so many peoples lives. Sending much love, Liv.
I hadn't been in touch with Nathan for years but as recently as this year I mentioned his name to my current students as my all time favorite student.
I taught Nathan grade 10 and 11 math. To say he was a bright light in the world is an understatement. He embodied dedication and leadership in every sense of the word. I was deeply saddened by the news because of the impact he has on others. Words can't describe what a special guy he was. Uniquely talented, brilliant, personable, and someone I wish I had as a friend.
I will never forget you, Nathan.
Tim, Julie, Daph, Laurenn, Maddie, Charles, Brooke, & Buddy… my heart is shattered with you. Us in this photo will stay frozen in my mind for the rest of my life- a time of joy & lightness & togetherness. I love you all and sweet Nathan with my whole heart. Here in NC listening to a lot of Brandi & Nickel Creek through aches and tears wishing to be with you all in this tremendous grief. Holding all the space and love for each of you and praying for the miracle of peace to comfort you. With you for all the days and years to come. I love you all tremendously. Rest peacefully and wholly our dearest Nathan. You are so loved.
All my heart,
Tiffany
