We are saddened to announce the death of our brother, William Charles (Buddy) MacLean of Antigonish, in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home on September 29, 2023. Buddy was 77 years old.

Buddy was the second youngest son of Henry and Janet (MacGillivray) MacLean of Ohio, Antigonish, NS. Buddy worked at many odd jobs around the Antigonish area. In his later years Buddy could be seen daily, rain or shine, collecting recyclables around town. He was very proud to receive an award of recognition for this work from the Town of Antigonish. Buddy was a very quiet and caring person.

MacDonald Nursing Home, the staff of Highland Crest Nursing Home, staff of the emergency department of St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Sr. Catherine MacGillivray and Fr.
