Caroline "Elizabeth" Neary, age 77, slipped away peacefully, surrounded by family, on November 23, 2023 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Our hearts are so heavy for the loss of our mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Born June 28, 1946, she was the chosen daughter of the late Katie (Delaney) and John George MacLellan of Big Marsh, Antigonish County.

She was known for her beautiful baking, her spicy personality, and her love of dancing that she taught her husband Bob. Together they spent countless Saturday nights going to dances and ceilidhs.

She was predeceased by her birth parents, Ada Casey and Howard Burns and several siblings.

She is survived by her son Robert (Terry) and their son Justin (Melissa) and grandson Benjamin, Fairmont Road; daughter Tracy (Lloyd) Simmonds and their son Isaac, Dartmouth; daughter Cathy (Chris) Currie and their children Ashton and Delaney and grandson Gage, Edmonton; son Jimmy (April) and step-daughter Wynter, Calgary.
