My deepest sympathy to Delia’s family and friends at this difficult time. David, you have been the most devoted, steadfast and reliable next-of-kin imaginable during the past few years. You always carefully thought about what would be best for Delia, then respectfully approached your very independent aunt.
I will miss my independent and unique friend of 43+ years hugely. Delia has listened to and laughed with me for hours on end, been kind and supportive to me and my family, and inspired me.
May she rest in eternal peace.

Judy Brown posted a condolence

My name is Judy Brown and I live in New Hampshire. A nephew of Delia’s called me to tell me of her passing and I thank him for his kindness. Delia and I became friends over 30 years ago when I lived for a short time in Heatherton and attended St. Mathew’s Church. We wrote to each other once or twice a year and I always enjoyed receiving a letter from her. I visited her about 20 ago and we had lunch. She was a dear lady and I miss those letters. Rest in peace dear friend.

Sorry to hear of Delia’s passing. I met her as a Red Cross volunteer and had great conversations as fellow volunteers. She was a gentle, caring person. It was a privilege to know her.

Dear Netty and Family,
Very sorry to hear of Delia’s death. She was a gentle person who quietly befriended her neighbours in the Highland Housing Co-op, and volunteered many hours to the Red Cross and Club 60. Please accept my condolences and may she rest in peace.
