I was so sad to hear that Nellie had passed. While at the RK together, Nellie and Mom shared many laughs and chats about living on Highland Drive together. They enjoyed each other’s company over the years, as they worked tirelessly at the Opportunity Shop raising funds to help others. I recall just this December past, on a visit to the RK, Mom was taking a short walk in the corridor and when I told her Nellie was sitting at the table in the dining room, off she went to have a great chat and a bunch of laughs with your beautiful Mom. Nellie will be sadly missed by all. She was certainly a ray of light, so kind and funny. RIP beautiful Nellie.
