Obituary of Kandy Skinner

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kandy (Pelly) Skinner of Highland Drive, Antigonish on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Born in Canso, Nova Scotia on November 18, 1958 she was a daughter of the late Blanche (Feltmate) and James "Boop" Pelly.

She was a long time and valued employee of the R.K MacDonald dietary department. Kandy never met a frog she did not like.

She is survived by her husband Stanley Skinner, Antigonish; son Aubrey, Halifax; sisters Eva and Vicky; brothers Jim and Kevin (Juanita) all of Antigonish; three granddaughters; two nieces and two nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Yvonne and brother Richard.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank Dr. Steeves, Dr. Rice, the oncology team, as well as all the palliative care nurses of St. Martha's Regional Hosptial, for their care and compassion. God bless you all!
