Obituary of Nancy Joyce MacDonald

It is with great sadness we, the family, announce the passing of our dear mother, wife and grandmother, Nancy MacDonald. Born in Pictou County, June 12, 1942, raised in Argyle, Guysborough County she was the eldest daughter of the late Errington and Martina (Grace) Cooke. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Jermaine, Brierly Brook; children Gerry (Anne), Brierly Brook; Paul (Paula) Sydney; Beverly (Craig), Spruce Grove, Alberta; Morgan (Sarah), New Glasgow; Effie, Brierly Brook; six brothers, three sisters, fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many extended family members. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday, January 13, 2017, in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant Street, Antigonish. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Saturday in St. Ninian's Cathedral; Rev. Joe Mackenzie presiding. Burial at a later date in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations to the R.K. MacDonald Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or Parkinson's Canada.
