I am writing on behalf of the Ostrovitz family in Swampscott, Massachusetts. Mary was our nanny as you mentioned. We loved Mary with all our hearts. She was a joy and such a positive influence over my brothers and sister. My mother was especially fond of her and they had a lovely relationship. They stayed in touch for so many years. Today, I came across the last letter that Mary sent to me and I though that I should check to see where she is now so I could let her know how my mother is doing. I was heartbroken to read that she is gone and I pray that she is at peace now. Mary was a blessing and she made us a better family. We will never forget her.
