I am so sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. I worked at the post office for years and got to know Charlie quite well. I would take care of his mail when he went out west to visit family. I am retired nearly five years and would only run into Charlie every now and then at the grocery store. He would always tell me about his children and grandchildren and he was so proud of all of you.
I know you will miss him terribly but I wanted to tell you he spoke to me so often about you all that I feel I know you.
God Bless
Hugs xo

To the Kenny Family, our deepest condolences on the loss of your Father.
We enjoyed many good card games with your Dad at Club 60. Besides being a sharp card player, he had a great sense of humor and he always had a good laugh at a joke or a story. He will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I was sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. The year before "moving away" I spent working with Charlie at Jerome Forbes' farm. Despite some health issues Charlie always had an energetic approach and constant smile. We had some long days, building a barn, and Charlie would occasionally convince me to head up to his place so he he could teach me a few other things about farming and fencing in exchange for free labor. I had only bumped into him a few times on return visits in recent years. On each occasion Charlie would proudly update on his children's accomplishments and leave with that same smile. Condolences to the Kenny family.

The news that Charlie had passed was a shock to us. It was a joy to bump into him in town. There was always a smile, a chuckle about the political frolics in Ottawa and a few recollections about our antics when we were young guys rambling around the county with tractor gas in the pickup and no money in our pockets before we headed west and said goodbye to school. A good natured cat, he loved playing cards and he and my mother enjoyed pulling one another's leg at the card table. She always smiled when his name was mentioned.
Charlie, old son, I'm not the only old guy who'll be missing you.
Our sincere condolences to the family.

Charles was a huge part of my life growing up back in Caledonia . I have so many fond memories from a young age being at the house and being around him. Showing up on my dirt bike, learning the in’s and outs on how to be a proper cribbage player, and Charlie being the taxi that took us kids back home to Caledonia Mills from the PC dances. And many more memorable moments from my childhood in Caledonia Mills. RIP Charles,
My sincere condolences to the whole family.
