Friday, October 5, 2018Velma --Very sorry about the loss of David. Some of my memories of David are of my childhood years -- remember particularly going swimming with David in one of the Dartmouth lakes (not at your own cottage is my recollection but being very, very, young I may well be wrong). Perhaps also getting together at Granddad and Grace's place in Marriotts Cove And I do remember having you and David over to our cottage in Chester Basin some years back. And gather our nephew Mike was at your memorial event which was a very memorable event. Maybe we can catch up when we are back in NS (from our winter yearround home in Toronto) , hopefully next summer. So all the best, Velma, and good luck in the future.. Affectionatly, Larry

Tuesday, October 2, 2018To David's wife and family, I send my sincere condolences. I curled with David for a few years at The Highland Curling club. He was always fun to be around and a great sport. Enjoyed our little off-ice chats and being the behind-the-glass skips. Met him many times shopping and always took time for a chat about curling. We picked the new teams today for the upcoming year and that is when I found out about his passing. Rest in Peace David.
